Resumen:
We present theoretical calculations for multiple ionization (single to sextuple) of Ne, Ar, Kr using the CDW-EIS approximation, adapted for light-particle impact (electrons or positrons). The central key of our approach is to adapt the heavy-ion atom collision results to cope the physics of light particle impact [1]. To this end we considered the charge effect, the minimum electron impact energy to allow ionization, a finite transversal maximum momentum transfer, and the trajectory correction for light particles (it is far from being a straight line) using the Abel transformation. Multipleionization is calculated within the independent electron model via the multinomial expansion. We take into account the direct and the post-collisional ionization (PCI) [1-4]. The latter by including experimental branching ratios of Auger type processes. PCI is very important in the high-energy region. For light particles the multinomial expansion must also be corrected to include an energy restriction to cancel those terms that are energetically forbidden.
