Resumen:
The intermittent structures identified in the solar wind (SW) are a key observable to study the nature of magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) turbulence in systems with low dissipation rate. These nonlinear wave-wave interactions can be characterized by the degree of phase correlation and by departures from Gaussianity of the magnetic field. Such interactions and characteristics are, commonly, observed and studied near the Earth using in situ observations, while the solar wind sources remain unknown. In this work, we studied in situ observations of magnetic field intensity from the spacecraft ACE, located near one astronomical unit from the Sun, and Synoptic Charts from the Wilcox Solar Observatory. We identify two different intermittent periods computing the phase coherence index. For these SW observations, we find their corresponding solar sources. From this analysis we found a particular pattern in the coronal surface magnetic field, which can be related to the nature of the intermittent observed SW.
