Resumen:
We explore the quantum-classical correspondence in mid-infrared strong- eld ionization of atoms by comparing low-energy electron spectra obtained from the numerical solution of the full three-dimensional Schroedinger equations with classical trajectory Monte Carlo simulations and calculations based on the Coulomb-Volkov approximation. We demonstrate that both strong quantum interference and classical focusing efects are present in the photoionization spectra and explain why the low-energy structure is absent in the Coulomb-Volkov approximation.
