Resumen:
Using hydrodynamical cosmological simulations to describe the dynamical and chemical evolution of the stellar populations of galaxies, and adopting the collapsar model for the origin of long gamma-raybursts, we investigate the spatial distribution of these sources within their host galaxies, and the chemical abundances of their birthplaces. Our results show that bursts tend to be situated in the central regions of the hosts at high redshifts, and progressively outward for lower redshifts. Within the collpasar model, low-metallicity burst progenitors produce the best fit to current observations. For the birthplaces, our results suggest a mild increase of the mean metallicity with redshift, and a strong decrease of the mean alpha enhancement.
