Primer an\'alisis fotom\'etrico CCD $UBVI$ del c\'umulo abierto comparativamente brillante NGC\,2587

Resumen:
Using CCD UBVIKC images obtained at Cerro Tololo Ob-servatory (Chile) we show that NGC 2587 is a solar metallicity open clus-ter, somewhat younger than the Hyades, located at ∼ 9.8 kpc from theGalactic center in a direction in which the interstellar extinction followsthe normal law. Using previously published kinematic data we deter-mine the mean clusters proper motion. Recently, this paper has beenextensively published in MNRAS, 397, 1073 (2009).
