Resumen:
Astronomy, astrophysics, and cosmology workshops represent a way for students to better understand the nature of science. In this paper we have analysed the development of this kind of workshop organized in Argentina. This is qualitative, holistic, and interpretive research. We have found this to be a way for students to become aware of modern science and to understand how science is built today, recognizing its daily growth, and it is an introduction to the way science works. Students come to recognize science as developed by humans, an image of science different from the fictional view than that often shown in textbooks and by science teachers.
