Resumen:
Abstract. Oscillations of the solar chromosphere are still not well understood despite a large amount of observations and theoretical work. We present here a contribution to this problem based on UV measurements (SUMER/SoHO experiment) of the oscillations in lines with different temperatures of formation and different parameters (intensity, velocity and linewidth). We compare the results from the different lines and nd, as in some other works, a strong attenuation of intensity oscillations with inceasing temperature, but thanks to the use of various line parameters, we also show that velocity oscillations disappear at lower temperatures than intensity ones. We stress the difficulty of estimating the temperature formation of the lines and also stress the limitations of the analysis due to the low photon counts.Oscillations of the solar chromosphere are still not well understood despite a large amount of observations and theoretical work.
