Resumen:
We present simulations for the crosspolarizedbackscattering coefficient (σ0HV ) of real agricultural soil surfaces, based on a solution that includes all the terms in theKirchooff fields of AIEM. This solution was tested numericallyon an ensemble of real agricultural profiles, acquired with a2D laser scanner. We show that using this solution, the σ0HVof agricultural surfaces is non-zero for most conditions, andthe copolarized channels are similar to the ones obtained usingexisting theoretical models. This paper solution is a relevantcontribution to the understanding of the mechanisms responsiblefor the overall σ0HV in agricultural soils.
