Resumen:
In eukaryotic cells, gene expression is controlled by transcription factors (proteins/activators or repressors) that bind to gene regulatory modules (DNA). As a test case, we are studying how the expression of downstream genes in Drosophila embryos is regulated by a set of three activators, bicoid, caudal and torRE (activators) and five repressors giant, hunchback, knirps, kruppel and tailless.
