Resumen:
For any n> 3, we construct a family of finite dimensional irreduciblerepresentations of the braid group B_n. Moreover, we give necessary conditionsfor a member of this family to be irreducible. In particular we give a explicitlyirreducible subfamily of dimension the combinatorial number C(m,n) for all 0<m<n. The representation obtained in the case m=1 is equivalent to the standard representation.
