Resumen:
Free boundary problems arise modelling the sorption of solventsinto glassy polymers. There are physical reasons to expect that aconvective condition with coefficient $h$, behaves asymptoticallyas a Dirichlet condition. In this work we prove, analyzing theuniform convergence the equivalence of these problems. A conditionis also derived that allows one to decide whether a specificapplication lies within the asymptotic regime.
