Resumen:
In this work we present a simple, fast and robust method to create a polifunctional surfaces. Glass substrates were modified by two ways with the aim to anchor a novel [pentacarbonyl(phenyl-1,4diethynylmethoxy)]-tungsten(0) (DMCF-W) (Scheme 1). The variety of functional groups of that compound, provide different reactive centers for broad kind of molecules and the transition metal of carbene complex was used like a reducing agent to be able produce gold nanoparticles (AuNp) on surface. Recently in our laboratory was demonstrated the chemical interaction between AuNp surface and heterocyclic pseudoaromatic compounds 3H-1,2-dithiole-3- thiones (Scheme 2) as passivants agents. These compounds have been known for several years because of their capacity to coordinate to metal surface. The strong interaction between 3H-1,2-dithiole-3-thiones (thiones) and metal surfaces could be explained by their resonance structures in the ground state.
