Resumen:
In this work we have studied the gas-phase photodegradation of 2,2,2-Trifluoroethylmetacrylate (TFEM) with a wide industrial application like extraction of chemicals, intermediaries in the manufacture of polymers and circuit boards[1]. Kinetics and mechanistic studies of the reactions of these antropogenic volatile organic compounds (VOCs) with tropospheric oxidants like Cl atoms and their degradation pathways are necessary to estimate the atmospheric lifetime and harmful effects of fluoro esters in the urban air.
