Resumen:
In this work, in the first part of the talk, we will present networks formed by means of H-bonds on HOPG at the solid/liquid interface and how the monolayer morphology changes according to two variables: a) solute concentration, and 2) the sample polarization. Such a controllable morphology could be presented as an alternative for various applications in which nanoporous could act as a target site for catalysis reactions and this capability could be switch on/off in an ex-situ (concentration) or in-situ (applied bias voltage) experiment. In the last part of the talk, we will present some preliminary electrochemical results concerning to the catalytic activity of metal organic networks formed in solution.
