Resumen:
In this study we synthetized magnetic nanoparticles through a green and homemade process based on a free patent method that use iron rust, and edible olive oil and vinegar. Results show that the method is reproducible using Argentine local products and that nanoparticles are similar to those obtained in previous works. The nanoparticles have cubic shape with an edge mean value of 50 nm. Such a size makes nanoparticles suitable to remove As from drinking water.
