Resumen:
Recently, nanogels have been under study because of their potential as drug delivery carriers for biological and biomedical application. Indeed, thermoresponsive polymers exhibiting a lower critical solution temperature (LCST) in aqueous medium are very promising materials for bioapplications such as enzyme recycling, hyperthermia-induced drug delivery or tissue engineering. In this work we present the synthesis of nanogels of MEO2MA-co-OEGMA using HEMA as a co-monomer and TEGDMA as crosslinker, implementing ultrasonication as a new methology of synthesis for this system. The LCST of the nanogels were determined and related with their molar relationships.
