Resumen:
Summary of main observations: Baseline grooming affected by CVSxAGE. Freezing augmented by CVS during conditioning and extinction in a sensitization-type of way. Older rats explore less the vertical space during training. During extinction, they freeze more and do less grooming and horizontal exploration. Vertical exploration is reduced by CVS during extinction independently of AGE and this response do not recover to the level of control animals in both age groups.
