Resumen:
Ligaments restrict the motions between vertebrae andprovide stability to the spine. The constitutive behaviorof the ligamentous tissue has a great influence on theoverall response of the cervical spine. An Ogdenmaterial using hybrid elements has been introduced inthe FE model of the human cervical spine to achieve abetter constitutive modeling of the non-lineal responseof the ligaments.
