Abstract The economic interest on native rubbers comes from their similarity with Arabic rubber, and consequently their alternative use. Arabic rubber is one of those of more consumption in the world and it constitutes 8% of the total market of natural rubbers. In this work a simple form to extract the L-arabinose from native exudates of flora is presented. Therefore a natural resource is being valorized, able to generate the development of the regional economies compatible with a nondestructive use of the environment, which allows replacing a product that is not elaborated in the Argentina Republic at the moment. and consequently their alternative use.
