Resumen:
The Sierra de Quilmes is one of the largest units of the northern Sierras Pampeanas, which is located in the southwest of the province of Salta on the border with the provinces of Tucuman and Catamarca. It is composed of two complex lithologically igneous-metamorphic, metamorphic equivalents of turbiditic sediments of Puncoviscana -Neoproterozoic to Early Cambrian (Jezek et al., 1985). Near the Divisadero ravine, Cafayate (department) boulder migmatites are registered with sulphide minerals and metal oxides. From the study of textural relations it is possible to identify different crystallization episodes of these minerals; one episode preceds metamorphism and another follows it. Metallic minerals would have been removed from a protolith that contain a concentration of these elements during the anatexis of high- grade metamorphic rocks.
