Resumen:
TRABAJO ENVIADO EN ETAPA DE REVISION Living organisms are subjected to environmental factors those enter the body and often are difficult to remove. In the fraction microsomes cell, there are complex oxidizes, whose central element is P450. This enzyme complex is responsible of cell detoxification. In this paper, we modify the technique to determine cytochrome P450 activity in animal cells, adapting it for the first time to plant cells. The work was carried out using leaves Scindapsus aureus. The results showed an increase of enzyme activity related to the dwell time of plants in a contaminated environment or with the highest concentration of CO. The plants exposed to pollutants express detoxifying enzyme activities and can help improve air quality.
