Resumen:
Dietary strategies, including the use of probiotics as preventive agents that handle the intestinal microbiota and/or modulate the function of adipose tissue, would be suitable tools for the prevention or treatment of different conditions associated with obesity. In this context, our aim was to evaluate the effect of Lactobacillus fermentum CRL1446 (CRL1446) on metabolic and immunological parameters and on the composition of intestinal microbiota in a model of obesity induced by a high-fat diet (HFD).
