Resumen:
Bisphosphonates is a drug that behaves as specific inhibitors of osteoclastic activity. It has become one of the main keys in the treatment of osteoporosis and it is also used in the treatment of bone metabolic diseases, multiple mieloma and bone metasthasis of solid tumors. The use of bisphosphonates was associated with osteonecrosis of the jaws, as an undesired effect. A clinical case was presented, and the management of care of patients with indication of bisphosphonates, was described.
