Resumen:
Two new species of the genus Borreria, B. carajasensis E.L. Cabral & L.M. Miguel and B. sanguiniipetala E.L. Cabral & L.M. Miguel, are described and illustrated, based on material collected on iron outcrops in the Serra dos Carajás region, Pará state. A key to related species is also presented; these related species can be recognized by their transversally sulcate seeds. Aditionally, Borreria cupularis DC. and Borreria multiflora (DC.) Bacigalupo & E.L. Cabral are reported for the first time in Pará state, Bazil. Comments on geographical distribution and habitat are provided for the newly described and newly documented taxa
