Resumen:
In the last years, composite materials have attracted more attention because of the potential synergic combination of the component properties. In particular, there has been an increasing interest in cellulose-based composites materials due to renewability and abundance of this natural resource1. The incorporation of magnetic nanoparticles into cellulose matrices allows obtaining novel magnetic nanocomposites. These materials have potential application in papermaking and packaging, security paper, and information storage.In this work, magnetic cellulose fibers composites were prepared by a casting method using magnetic nanoparticles obtained by alkaline co-precipitation with the aim to obtain magnetic papers. The preparation and characterization will be presented in this work
