Resumen:
Hydrogels based on gelatin have been reported for drug delivery due to their thermoresponsive capability1. For this application, it is necessary to design strategies to retain the dimensional stability of the gelatin gels due to the fact that they melt at temperatures below physiological temperature. In the present work we introduce a novel nano/microstratified polymer sandwich material based on natural polymers obtained by combination of a multilayer polymer film with physical gelatin ferrogels containing magnetic nanoparticles. The material was fully characterized and the release of a model drug, bovine serum albumin (BSA) was determined
