Resumen:
The use of polylactic acid (PLA) as raw material for the manufacture of biodegradable composites has great potential due to its easy availability1 and its high biodegradability. Due to its rigidity in the raw state, it can be combined with different polymers and plasticizers to produce processable blends, suitable for different applications. The present work was carried out with mixtures of PLA and Ecoflex®, using as plasticizers Cardolite 514S (CL), Soybean epoxidized oil with a concentration of 0.28 g/mol (OE) and low cost commercial soybean epoxidized oil (OC). Mechanical properties of the produced compounds were studied by a universal mechanical testing machine
