Resumen:
About one-fifth of cancer patients suffer from breast cancer worldwide. Polymeric nanoparticles play an important role in delivering such kinds of chemotherapeutic agents in a controlled manner. TMX PLGANPs were prepared using a single emulsion technique and also functionalized by a non-covalently surface coating with polylysine in order to improve cell uptake. The characterization will be perform in term of morphology employing FESEM microscopy and DLS. The thermo-chemical analysis carried out using TGA and DSC. Additionally a loading efficiency and TMX release profile were presented and finally in vitro cytotoxicity and antiproliferative effect were studied. The TMXPLGANPs present a spherical shape with an average diameter of 196.9 ± 0,2 nm. The tamoxifen loading efficiency was 86% an ideal result to permit use of this device for a potential tool of controlled drug-release. The surface functionalization demonstrated an improvement in cell up take.
