Resumen:
Rigidpolyurethanes foams (RPU) are used in different engineering applications suchas packaging, thermal insulation, bumpers, or as surfboards core. The use ofbio-based polyols to produce RPU is an interesting approach to reducepetro-chemical derivatives dependency. Here we study the morphology andmechanical properties of RPU synthesized using a soybean oil-based polyol,glycerol as effective crosslinker, and different amount of organosolv ligninadded as an inert filler and cellular structure modifier.
