Resumen:
Glycerol-plasticized starch (TPS), Polycaprolactone (PCL) and commercial TPS-PCL blends (MaterBi-Z) nanocomposites films were prepared with different loadings of montmorillonite and the effect of nanoclay incorporation on the final properties of the matrices were studied. The dispersion of the clay in the matrices was analyzed by X-ray diffraction (XRD). The effect of the addition of clay on thermal resistance, mechanical properties and barrier properties was analyzed by means of thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), water absorption and tensile tests.
