Resumen:
A new species of Larsia is described and illustrated as immatures and adults. Immatures were collected in the water held by the leaf axils of the bromeliad Aechmea distichantha in northeastern Argentina, and reared to adult in laboratory. The pupa bears an unusual thoracic horn for the genus, being this character very useful to distinguish this new species from other Larsia species.
