Resumen:
Abstract. Adults and immatures of Thienemanniella liae new species are described and figured. The specimens were collected from streams in the Tandil and Ventana hill systems in the southwestern part of the Buenos Aires Province and in the Limay River in northern Patagonia, Argentina. The imagines differ from other known species of the genus by having all trochanters with dorsal keel. The immatures are larger than other Neotropical species. In addition, two new combinations are given, Onconeura desertica (Paggi) and Physoneura costalis (Edwards).
