Resumen:
The family Rhopalidae has been poorly studied in Argentina. There have been recorded 33 species, among them 15 species belong to the genus Harmostes Burmeister. This genus was revised by Göllner- Scheiding in 1978; she divided the genus into two subgenera: H. (Harmostes) y H. (Neoharmostes) based mainly in characteristics of the hemelytra. Here in we described two new species of H. (Harmostes) from Argentina: H. bilobatus sp. n. and H. rubrum sp. n. Illustrations of the diagnostic characters and a key to the Argentinean species of the subgenus Harmostes are presented with a checklist of the Rhopalidae from Argentina.
