Resumen:
This contribution deals with LA-ICPMS U-Pb zircon dataing of two units involved in the Altar porphyry Cu deposits in the Main Cordillera of San Juan Province. The ages obtained are 20 ± 0.3 Ma and 10.35 ± 0.32 Ma, and are related to the early stages of shallowing of the slab beneath the central Flat Slab segment.. Epsilon Sr and epsilon Nd data suggest a mixed mantle-crust component in their magmas, although mantle component might be dominant.
