Resumen:
Abstract A new specimen of a glossopteridal fructification from the Permian of La Golondrina Basin, in Santa Cruz Province, Argentina, is described along with new sedimentary sections. The fructification has ovuliferous scars, and is attached to a sterile Glossopteris leaf. The discovery of this specimen is of great importance not only because it is the first record of a glossopterid fructification in organic connection with its sterile leaf, but also because it represents the first record of Plumsteadia for Argentina. Furthermore, it provides of additional evidence to support a Middle to Late Permian age for La Golondrina Formation.   Key words. Middle-Late Permian, La Golondrina Formation, Argentina, Glossopteridales, Fructifications, Plumsteadia.
