Abstract. THE TRIASSIC PALEOFLORA OF POTRERILLOS, MENDOZA PROVINCE, ARGENTINA. At the Bayo and Cocodrilo Hills (Potrerillos, northwestern Mendoza Province, Argentina) two stratigraphic logs were measured in detail and 16 plantiferous levels were determined. In this contribution the systematic study of the paleoflora is presented. The 23 taxa recognized belong to Sphenopsida (Equisetales), Filicopsida (Filicales) and Gymnospermopsida (Corystospermales, Peltaspermales, Cycadales, Ginkgoales, Petriellales and Gnetales).
