Resumen:
The combustion of soot was investigated using oxide supported LiNO3 and CsNO3 catalysts. Also, its behavior with high temperature, water team, carbon dioxide and nitric oxide were studied. Precursors were prepared by pore volume impregantion method, with CsNO3 and LiNO3 Also, its behavior with high temperature, water team, carbon dioxide and nitric oxide were studied. Precursors were prepared by pore volume impregantion method, with CsNO3 and LiNO3 3 and CsNO3 catalysts. Also, its behavior with high temperature, water team, carbon dioxide and nitric oxide were studied. Precursors were prepared by pore volume impregantion method, with CsNO3 and LiNO33 and LiNO3 solutions, in nominal concentration of 7,5% ion nitrate. Catalysts were characterized by mean DSC tecnique, X ray difraction and FTIR. With the purpose to meansure catalyst activity in presence  of NO2/O2 a fixed bed reactor was used and to study the CO2 influence, a thermogravimetrical2/O2 a fixed bed reactor was used and to study the CO2 influence, a thermogravimetrical  system was performed. The developed catalysts with LiNO3 were the most reistent to  hydroteatments, where the catalyst supported over circonia (obtained in our lab), showed a maxime  combustion rate at 384ºC. This value appears within the temperatures range for exhaust pipe in steady steam.
