A
serie of Ni/Ceα-Al2O3 catalysts
modified by adding of Rh, were prepared to study the effect on activity,
stability and deactivation by carbon and sulfur during CO2 reforming
of methane at 650 oC and
atmospheric pressure. The catalysts were characterized by RXD, TPR, BET, TGA
and catalytic test. The results show that the addition of 0.5% of Rh improve
the Ni dispersion favouring the reforming activity and the selectivity to H2,
in comparison with the Ni based catalyst.
The
catalytic tests results indicate that the increase of the calcination
temperature of support improve the reforming activity and influence in the
carbon deposition The thioresistence also is improve by the addition of low Rh
content.
