Resumen:
The use of heteopolyacid catalyst in organic reactions has presented several advantages in the last years; within that group of heteropolyoxometalates, stand out the acids with Preyssler structure because their particular acidity and geometry, presenting an internal cavity with acid sites in its interior. This work presents the preparation and characterization of acids and salts with Preyssler structure, as well as their application as catalyst in diverse organic reactions. In relation to organic reactions these tests were: tetrahydropyranylation of alcohols and phenols, conversion of aldehydes on acilals, acetylation of alcohols, phenols, amines and thiols, preparation of bencidryl ethers, aryl and aralkyl cinnamates, flavones and dihydroangelicins
