Resumen:
Thisstudy shows results about both the simultaneous disinfection (Klebsiella pneumonae and Echerichia coli) and the degradation of2,4-dichlorophenoxiacetic acid (2,4-D) in natural groundwater samples whichcontain already natural iron (0.3 mg L-1) at natural pH (7.0) andadding H2O2 (10 mg L-1) by using a CylindricalParabolic Collector (CPC) coupled with a lamp UV(A+B)-Vis, a sand filter and achlorination process at different solar radiations (low and high). Resultsrevealed that at high solar radiation almost 100% of 2,4-D (70mgL-1) was degradedafter 120 min, while the viability of E.coli and K. pneumonae cells (followed by DVC-FISH) was completely reducedafter accumulate 150.000 J m-2 and 90 min of treatment with sandfilter/chlorination, Almost 97% of the TOC was removed at the end of treatmentand THM was measured below the detection limit. THM production was less of 10 µL-1 in all treatments.
