Resumen:
In this work, catalysts containing lithium nitrate impregnated on hydrated zirconium oxide, zirconium oxide and silica are investigated in the catalytic combustion of soot.
By means of chemical analysis and FTIR, it is possible to demonstrate that part of lithium nitrate remains without being decomposed and the activity of catalysts in combustion with air is correlated with nitrate concentration.
