Resumen:
The relative simplicity and versatility of the sol–gel process, when compared to covalent-bonding methods to obtain hybrid materials, associated with low cost, are responsible for its extensive utilization. The procedure used to reach this objective was the heat treatment sol-gel silica at different temperature before functionalization with 3-aminepropyltriethoxysilane, using different amounts of grafting compound. The functionalized sol-gel silica was characterized by different techniques, especially with adsorption by CO. Others characterizations of functionalized silica were realized through different techniques: FT-IR; XRD; SBET; DTA-TGA; TEM; EDX; SEM; wetability.
