Resumen:
It is well known that the frequent administration of the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory ibuprofen in its racemic form produces undesirable side effects. In this context, the kinetic resolution of the racemic compound in order to obtain the pharmacological active S(+)-enantiomer is of interest. This investigation presents the immobilization the lipase B of Candida antarctica on TiO2 nanoparticles and its application in the enantiomeric esterification of (R,S)-ibuprofen with ethanol.
