Resumen:
Collagen-polyvinylpyrrolidone (collagen-pvp) is the gamma irradiated mixture of atelopeptide porcine type I collagen and low molecular weight polyvinylpyrrolidone. This is a useful drug for the treatment of tissue fibrosis as well as for wound healing. The principal aim of this study is to evaluate the skin biocompatibility of collagen-PVP attached to a mesoporous silica matrix through histopatology evaluation.
