Resumen:
The asymmetric epoxidation of R-(+)-limonene and cis-ethyl cinammate using the un-immobilized chiral salen Mn(III) complexes, with in situ generated dimethyldioxirane (DMD) as oxidizing agent, is an additional strategy where the catalyst proved to be recoverable and stable. This contribution is an extension of that work in order to improve the established methodology for the enantioselective epoxidation of 6-CN-2,2-DMC.
