Resumen:
A seriesofNiandRh–NicatalystssupportedonAl2O3 modified byCeO2 (3 and5wt%,Ce)wasstudiedfor CO2 reforming ofmethane.Catalystswerecharacterizedbyhydrogenchemisorption,TPR,XRD,XPS,BET, TEManddryreformingreactiontests.TheinfluenceofcalcinationtemperatureandCeloadingonactivity andstabilityofmonoandbimetallicsampleswasstudied.TheeffectofRhandCeadditiontoNi/a-Al2O3 catalyst improvestheactivity.Resultsshowthatthecatalystcontent3%w/wCecalcinedat650 ◦C,present higherreformingactivityandstabilitythantheunpromotedcatalyst.Thehighercatalyticactivityis attributedtotheinteractionbetweenRhandCephases,whichhasbeenverifiedbyTPRexperimentsthat improvetheRhdispersionandincreasethecatalystactivesurface.TheRhadditiononCe–Al2O3support increasestheresistancetodeactivationbycarbondeposition
