Resumen:
Classical models indicated a stable situation, but actually the gypsy moth showed period pest eruptions. But this behavior was only observed if the risk of the virus infection varied pre and post explosion. It was found that there was a selection of resistance followed up by a recover of that risk due to the cost of the resistance.
