Abstract: Trichomycetes, mainly from nonbiting midge (Chironomidae), mosquito (Culicidae) and black fly (Simuliidae) larvae (Insecta: Diptera), are reported from diverse freshwater environments principally from previously unexplored areas of Argentina.
