Resumen:
Hexamermis distinctus n. sp., a parasite of the grubs Diloboderus abderus Sturm, 1826 (Coleoptera, Scarabaeidae) found in Gorina, Argentina, is described and illustrated. This new species is characterized by the stoma small size, the J-shaped vagina, situated transversally at midbody, spicules parallel medium sized, pointed tip, and the arrangement of the genital papillae in three double rows, the ventral lateral rows with thirteen papillae in the outer row and with thirteen papillae in the inner one: the ventral row with four pairs and four single preanal papillae, and eight pairs and two singles postanal papillae.
