Resumen:
The advance of the degradation of the forest of the province biogeographic of Chaco in Argentina is important, which bears an important loss of the biodiversity, of which little is known. Since point of item in the knowledge of the biodiversity of spider in this region realized a study of the fauna of spiders in two forests of the province of Corrientes, Argentina, correspondents to the “Distrito Oriental Húmedo del Chaco”. The studied forests concern to the localities Laguna Brava and El Perichon, Capital Departament, in which seasonal samplings were realized between years 2001 and 2002. The spiders collected (2067 individuals from 33 families and 226 species/ morphospecies) were obtained by hammering of the stratum arbustive and sifted of the fallen leaves. Families Araneidae, Anyphaenidae, Salticidae and Theridiidae were the most abundant in both forests. The guild of spiders “orb weavers” presented the highest number of specimens (n= 382) and that of  “stalkers” the highest richness (S= 56). In Laguna Brava highest abundance was observed in the summer (n= 287) and spring (n= 273), and in El Perichón in winter (n= 315). The specific richness and the diversity indexes value were higher in Laguna Brava (S= 134, H´= 4.23, E= 0.86, D= 0.023) than in El Perichón (S= 127, H´= 4.08, E= 0.84, D= 0.029). The similarity between both forests was MH= 0.611.
